Basic Function:

This position is responsible for a broad range of IT and data management functions within a small nonprofit organizational environment.

Responsible for the direct management of the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of THA architecture and infrastructure, information systems and enterprise data. Responsible for the direct management of all data and database environments related to THA’s association management system (Personify), the Compass data archive, and all SaaS platforms including identity and access management, schema/design, SQL scripting, and ETL. Oversees THA’s eBusiness website and underlying data and business intelligence layers. Evaluates technologies to improve both the security and operational efficiency of THA’s information systems.

Skills and Abilities:

Job requires this position to have expert computer skills in Microsoft applications supported by the Association.

Working knowledge of PC hardware and software packages, installing/troubleshooting PC and telephone equipment is required.

Individual must have highly developed problem-solving abilities.

Must have the ability to effectively communicate with users.

Must work with business leaders to identify business unit’s critical systems and data

Must be flexible and willing to support the organization in an ever-changing technical environment.

This position requires a customer oriented, patient, creative, energetic, and a self-starting individual to fulfill the standards and requirements of the THA Information Technology.

Qualifications:

Must have valid Texas Drivers’ License and proof of insurance if driving for THA related business. Must have 3 years’ experience in a senior IT management role. Specialized training and certification in information security preferred, such as certification consisting of CISSP, and CISA or CISM. Strong preference for broader technical certifications and experience including certifications from CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, and AWS.

Specialized training in related software and programming skills preferred.

Technical project management experience preferred.

HIPPA compliance experience helpful.

Position involves hybrid in-person work model. Must reside in the Austin metro area.
