Fisher Phillips, a premier international labor and employment law firm, is seeking an experienced Information Governance, Matter Mobility Analyst to support the firm’s governance and privacy initiatives. With over 600 attorney's located in the United States and Mexico, and clients located all over the world, our information footprint and privacy requirements are extensive. In this role, the Matter Mobility Analyst will support the onboarding and offboarding of clients and attorneys. This position reports to and works closely with the Director of Information Governance to implement and improve the matter mobility process.
This position is based in the firm’s Atlanta Corporate Office with a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office attendance at least one day per week. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation, refinement, and ongoing execution of the firm’s matter mobility process, including both inbound and outbound transfers.
Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring consistent communication and high levels of client service throughout the matter transfer lifecycle.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers delivering technology solutions that support matter mobility.
Educate legal and administrative teams on the matter mobility process and associated protocols to ensure firmwide understanding and compliance.
Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators and metrics related to matter mobility.
Partner within Information Governance and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased efficiency in matter mobility workflows.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Director of Information Governance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 1 year of experience in matter mobility, records management, information governance, or a related legal operational function.
Proficiency with data transfer tools and related legal technology platforms (e.g., file transfer systems, matter management platforms).
Strong ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact professionally with attorneys, staff, and external vendors.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment when handling sensitive client and firm data.
Able to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy, professionalism, and client-service orientation.
High level of accountability, initiative, and a client-focused mindset.

The yearly range for this position is $75,000- $95,000. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, location, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
