The Data Governance Manager will be part of the wider Services Analytics team, which is responsible for delivery of all data analytics and governance in support of GOS service lines and GOS clients. The Data Governance Manager is responsible for supporting the data governance program, data management responsibilities, and data quality management for the global services analytics platform.
Job Description
About the Role:
Deliver on the data governance implementation roadmap for the global services analytics platform.
Develop and implement comprehensive Data Governance framework, policies, and procedures.
Work closely with Data and Test Analysts to execute testing of data loads, data pipelines, and changes to database schema and common data models to support new integrations and product releases.
Drive the investigation and resolution of bugs and data issues escalated for the services analytics platform, collaborating closely with Data Engineers, Data and Test Analysts as needed.
Collaborate with BI development team and product owner to conduct regular reviews of the data model to streamline or optimize where applicable.
About You:
Bachelorâ™s degree in Business, Engineering, or a degree with relevant disciplines such as information management, mathematics/statistics, business information systems.
5+ years professional experience as a manager Strong experience with data analysis or data management activities.
Experience in Microsoft SQL Queries / SQL Server Management Studio.
Experience in Alteryx, Python, Azure Data Factory, or Azure Databricks.
Experience in business analytics or data visualization software such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus
