Develop and operationalize cybersecurity strategies aligned with institutional goals, digital transformation initiatives, and risk appetite.
Direct security operations, risk management, and enterprise platform governance (e.g., SIEM, CASB, DLP, MFA) to ensure real-time protection and operational resilience.
Lead detection, response, and remediation of security incidents. Manage threat intelligence, forensics, and executive-level communication during crises.
Conduct enterprise-wide security risk assessments. Maintain audit readiness across FERPA, HIPAA, NIST, GLBA, and other frameworks.
Oversee security training programs (e.g., Living Security) and foster alignment between cybersecurity priorities and campus-wide stakeholders.
Mentor cybersecurity personnel and cultivate a high-performance, high-trust culture within the Office of Information Security.
Advise the CIO and executive leadership on emerging threats, security architecture evolution, and long-term investment in security capabilities.
Oversee domain integrity, SSL certificate management, CAASM, and posture management for cloud and federated systems.
