The Director, IT Management - Strategy & ITAM is responsible for a) Identification and implementation of transformation opportunities to improve the end user computing digital employee experience, and b) Delivery of highly reliable, compliant and cost-effective IT Asset Management (ITAM) practices supported by technologies, processes, and policies to effectively manage the IT asset lifecycle within Cardinal Health.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and own digital employee experience capability model
Identification of end user computing transformation opportunities and development of associated business cases
Develop, maintain and own end user computing digital employee experience transformation roadmap
Lead implementation of digital employee experience cross organization transformation initiatives
Partner with external hardware, software and consulting partners to bring new digital employee experience process and solution ideas to the organization
Responsible for working across areas within the GBS Employee Services organization to budget, forecast, and monitor monthly spend for labor and non-labor
Responsible for financial management and allocation of end user computing and desktop software expenses to cost centers throughout the organization
Lead IT Asset Management (ITAM) function and processes which includes Hardware Asset Management and Software Asset Management
Responsible for Laptop and Desktop device procurement, lease management, inventory management and device disposals
Responsible for ensuring accurate maintenance of Software Asset Management effective license positions for top-tier software suppliers
Develop, maintain and own Software Asset Management capability roadmap and implementation plan
Responsible for the print technology solutions for production and office printing capabilities and ongoing support for the solutions
Ownership of relationships and contracts with large hardware and software partners that provide solutions for end user computing, print and IT asset management
IT Solution Owner for Software Asset Management solution (Flexera One)
Facilitate and execute Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures activities for hardware and software
Facilitate and execute software audits
Qualifications
12+ years of experience preferred
Bachelor?s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferred
