Coordinates and facilitates the operations of student programming, learning opportunities, and supports operations for the Student Government Association (SGA) students. Provides administration direction of the programs and serves as an advisor to SGA. Assist with compliance in governing documents, policies, and procedures. Supports the Associate Director of Student Governance and is part of the Center for Leadership & Service Administrative (CLS) Team.

• Serves as part of the administrative team of the Center for Leadership & Service (CLS). Works with CLS & SGA teams to develop and implement programs and services for the department.

• Assists in interpreting, communicating, and ensuring compliance with University and SGA policies/procedures.

• Advises all the members of the Cabinet and attends weekly Senate and/or Cabinet meetings.

• Oversees SGA special annual events and/or signature programming. This includes Meet the Deans, End of Year Banquet, swear-in ceremonies, football suite events, recharge for finals, and any other student programming priority/initiative. May be required to participate in evening programming or travel.

• Advises SGA team with SGA elections, budget process, lobbying efforts, etc.

• Supports Student Life & Development (SLD) in the execution of major campus events.

• Develops and maintains collaborative partnerships with division and university-wide departments. Represents SGA on division and university-wide committees.

• Assists with the SGA office operations and programs at all campuses and regional locations.

• Employee will have access to a third party system (software, gateway, etc.) that processes, transmits, and/or stores cardholder information. May handle cash/gift card transactions.

• Serves as an University card user for departmental transactions. Adheres to University credit card policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of office or related experience.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in working with a varied student population is essential.
• Experience in advising students on university programs.
