Department Description
Adult Correctional Mental Health (ACMH) is a satellite contract program of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The program provides mental health services to inmates incarcerated inside the two Sacramento County jails located in downtown Sacramento and in Elk Grove.

Responsibilities
The position works effectively as a team member and independently with minimal supervision to provide technology expertise and management for the administrative and clinical needs for Adult Correctional Mental Health. Develops and maintains software programs and applications to meet individual user and program needs, installs hardware and software, maintains inventory records, provides network support, and troubleshoots problems. Provides technological support for the cost-effective use of computing equipment, software and networking including planning, installation, and problem resolution.
Required Qualifications
Knowledge and experience with the following network protocols: TCP/IP, IPX, SNMP, SMTP. Knowledge implementing and maintaining a Novell local Area Network
Extensive experience supporting PC's, Macs, both hardware and software, experience installing and updating software applications
Work experience setting up computers, laptops, devices, and printers
Experience with updating and maintaining websites.
Proficiency with MS Office 365, Citrix.
Demonstrated ability to work independently Ability to lift, stoop, crawl and kneel to install and move computer equipment
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills to effectively interpret instructions and interact with diverse groups of individuals
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to define problems and implement solutions
Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines with frequent interruptions, and maintain a high level of productivity
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Special Requirements
This position may be subject to a criminal background investigation, drug screen, Live Scan fingerprinting, medical evaluation clearance, and functional capacity assessment.
