Under the direction of Security Services Administration, the Security Manager will be the lead for 24/7 operations of the UCSF Health or Campus Security Divisions as assigned. In this role, the Security Manager will be the primary manager for any UCSF Health hospitals and clinics, or Campus locations they are assigned to. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Act as liaison with numerous other UCSF Health and Campus departments, including but not limited to the Lock Shop, Engineering, Telecomm, and UCPD.
Supervise staff and maintain the records for Security Services.
Coordinating training and compliance needs.
The ability to work independently and effectively perform and prioritize multiple tasks.
Assist the Director with the Workplace Violence Prevention (WVP) Program and support the WVP Committee and will be required to work collaboratively with various stakeholders across the organization.
