To maintain our Windows-based computing environment and provide technical assistance for our billing software systems.
To focus on day-to-day technology support, ensuring smooth operations for our team while maintaining system integrity and user productivity.
To promote safe working conditions through adherence to all established safety rules and practices.
Provide support and recommendations for the operation and maintenance of Windows desktop and server environments
Coordinate activities including installation, configuration and maintaining Windows operating systems and applications.
Provide assistance to manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory
Perform routine system maintenance, updates and patches.
Monitor system performance and resolve basic hardware/software issues.
Assists in printer setup, network connectivity and peripheral device configuration
Assist department users in daily computer operations.
Participate as an active team member attending required meetings, showing respect for other team members, and contributing insights and opinions.
Keep current on latest technologies and evaluate their potential to bring value to the Cooperative.
Demonstrate responsiveness to cooperative personnel needs by being timely and following through on request.
Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field from two-year, four-year college or technical school or equivalent three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience with desire to expand skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize multiple tasks and using attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Strong customer orientation with a desire to work in a team environment.
Instructional understanding of Microsoft Office products and a thorough understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems and Server software required.
