The Cyber Security Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining SECO Energy’s enterprise-wide cyber security program. This role leads a team of security professionals to protect the Cooperative’s information systems, including IT and OT environments against internal and external threats, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., NERC CIP, NIST CSF), and drives continuous improvement in security posture.

Supervisory
This position is expected to perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred: Master's degree or MBA with technology emphasis.
Job-related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Experience
Minimum: Five (5) years of progressive cyber security experience.
Minimum: Two (2) years of supervisory or management experience.
Preferred: Experience within an electric utility or related industry.
Certifications
Required: CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
Preferred: CRISC, GIAC Security Expert (GSE), or NERC CIP Practitioner.
Other Requirements
Ability to work irregular hours for assignment completion and flexibility to change scheduling and report to work on short notice during emergency situations.
Normal work hours will be eight (8) hours Monday through Friday, between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Business travel between offices and travel may be required for training and development.
Valid Florida driver’s license for occasional driving privileges of a company vehicle; must have and maintain an acceptable driving record as determined by SECO Energy.
Successful completion of pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.
