Job Description:
The Academic Audit & Transfer Coordinator plays a vital role in the Office of the Registrar by ensuring accurate and timely evaluation of incoming transcripts. This position supports the maintenance of academic records and the integrity of degree programs by articulating transfer credit, processing transcript evaluations, and collaborating with admissions, academic departments, and advising offices to support student success. The evaluator must maintain a high level of attention to detail, understand institutional policies and academic requirements, and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and articulate transfer credits from regionally accredited institutions and postsecondary
entities.
Review transcripts for accuracy, authenticity, and compliance with institutional
standards.
Enter evaluated credit into the student information system (Banner).
Collaborate with academic departments to determine course equivalencies.
Maintain accurate records of transcript evaluations and course articulations.
Assist students, faculty, and staff by interpreting transcript evaluation results and
policies.
Utilize and maintain Raptor, the University's automated tool for processing and
managing transcript evaluations.
Respond to inquiries regarding transfer policies and course equivalencies.
Work with admissions to support timely evaluation of transcripts for incoming
students.
Perform data entry and audit tasks to ensure consistency in student academic records.
Assist with training and support of office staff as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
