This role is vital in ensuring systems and processes meet internal standards, align with policies and regulations, and support accurate reporting, focusing on the technology that equips our ministry.

A day in the life of a Senior Information Technology Auditor:

In the role of Senior Information Technology Auditor, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
• Work under the direction of the Director of Internal Audit to design and build the Information Technology Audit Function for the Ministry, defining the audit universe related to IT
• Conduct technology, financial, and operational audits of the various functions of areas of Samaritan's Purse in alignment with the audit plan
• Prepare written reports with comprehensive summaries and recommendations of audits for the Audit Committee, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Board Consultants, and appropriate management
• Assist in executing a comprehensive audit plan for Samaritan's Purse, using risk assessment to determine the level of detail and frequency of audits and reviews of the various organization functions
• Review audit issues with the management of the audited area and the Chief Financial Officer to evaluate plans to implement corrective action
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Computer Science, Management Information systems, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Preferred Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), GIAC, GCCC, GCIH, ISA
• Comprehensive knowledge of auditing networking, infrastructure/ perimeter security, authentication controls, endpoint security, development security, incident response, disasters reverify, and vendor/third party management
• Strong communication skills- written and verbal.  Ability to build trust with teams
• Comfortable working closely with people at all levels of management and the Board of Directors, at times in stressful situations displaying integrity, discernment, sound judgment, and confidentiality 
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel
