Position Summary: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Security Systems Technician for the Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O). The position is primarily responsible for the installation and repair of the campus-wide card access security system.Among the key duties of this position are the following:Duties include the installation of security panels, field interface devices, card readers, motion detectors, request to exit devices, door contacts, limit switches, fiber optic security cabling and all related control wiring.Works with the security system software to program additional points, troubleshoot existing alarms, points in trouble and controllers that are off line.Detects faulty op
