Essential Functions:  The Information Systems Auditor performs within the Judiciary's Internal Audit Department. The incumbent plans, organizes, audits, and reports on all activities related to the Judiciary's Information Systems. This includes risk-based, general and application controls audits, risk assessments, system development reviews, and occasional consulting services. Responsibility also includes audits of applications, networks, operating systems, databases, client servers, cloud-based applications, and third-party managed software. The incumbent also prepares clear, concise audit reports detailing the findings and recommendations. Proactively performs follow-up audits of areas previously audited by the Maryland Legislative Audit and Internal Audit Department.
