This position collaborates closely with University leadership, cross-functional teams, external consultants, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
The IT Project Manager oversees the full project lifecycle—from intake and planning to execution and closure—while maintaining the University’s project portfolio. Project Monitoring and Documentation - Lead regular project review meetings, document decisions, identify and track risks, manage tasks and costs, and ensure all project information is accurately maintained.
Stakeholder Communication and Reporting – Maintain open communication with project teams and University leadership, report on progress, highlight issues or delays, and escalate as needed.
Project Portfolio Management - Maintain the University’s IT project portfolio in the project management system, ensuring data is current, accessible, and provides visibility into all projects and dashboards.
Resource Scheduling and Management - Schedule and manage availability of functional and technical resources, aligning staff and consultant capacity to project needs and preventing bottlenecks.
Issue Resolution and Risk Management - Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and lead issue resolution efforts to ensure project continuity.

A deep understating of the use of information technology in higher education to positively impact the teaching and learning experience and the administrative effectiveness of the University.
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
